Would you like to know what has been one of the most popular wines at Sails this summer?
It’s no secret that it is a Rose. And a classy one at that! Besides being a perfect foil to the summer breeze and sunshine views at Sails, it marries beautifully to so many dishes from our menu.
The “Whispering Angel” from Chateau d’Esclans in southern Provence France, is a blend of Grenache, Rolle (a.k.a. Vermentino) , Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvedre grapes. Strikingly pale salmon in colour, there’s aromas of jasmine and cherries, herbal and refined. Every sip is clean and fresh, chewy and mouth-watering, but bone dry through the finish. The name perfectly suits the delicate nature of this wine! The price is delicate to your pocket too!
